Ren Qi, with a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Wuppertal, Germany, is now a Associate Partner of HPP. HPP is a 91-year-old German architectural firm, which has been one of the leading design firms in Europe for many years. Her educational background in Chinese and German cultures has deeply influenced her design and creation. Her works are full of oriental sensibility and elegance and German rationality and rigor, presenting a perfect combination of architectural function and aesthetics. She has won many first prizes in many international design competitions. She is especially good at complex integrated projects such as old reform, sports, education and culture. Representative projects in recent years include Xujiahui Sports Park in Shanghai, Beijing GTC Xingfa Cement Plant Renovation, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) Taicang Campus, Zhanjiang Cultural Center, Jinan Yellow River Sports Center Professional Soccer Stadium and so on.
